Savegre River Rafting

The Savegre River Rafting tour begins when you get picked up at your hotel, we will travel to Savegre river, located a 30-minute drive from Quepos, Manuel Antonio. Savegre river features rapids class II and III considered an excellent river for rafting. The river is surrounded by crystal clear waters and lush vegetation, professional guides will take you on this adventure, where you will have a very good time. On this rafting tour, your guide will take you to places where you can swim with cascading waterfalls, some areas along the river offer calmer waters, where some animals are commonly seen such as kingfishers, herons, toucans, osprey, and others. Lunch after the tour, in a town known as “El Silencio” Savegre River was Recognized by Unesco as Costa Rica’s Fourth Biosphere Reserve. This site is located on the central Pacific coast, 190 km from the capital, San José. This reserve has high biodiversity value, hosting 20% of the total flora of the country, 54% of its mammals, and 59% of its birds. The river is born in the Talamanca Mountain Range and flows into the Pacific Ocean, and stands out for its biodiversity. The river banks are home to 20% of the flora, 54% of the mammals, and 59% of the birds that exist in Costa Rica. Another characteristic of the Savegre River is that it is considered the cleanest river in Costa Rica and Central America.
