Rain Forest Aerial Tram, this tour begins when you are picked up in your hotel, we will take you through the astonishing Braulio Carrillo National Park, located on the Caribbean lowlands. You’ll enjoy a scenic ride, where you will notice how the vegetation changes due altitude. Once there, you will be welcome by the staff, you will take a gondola ride at several meters above the forest floor, where you will be able to admire the beauty of the rainforest. During the tour, your guide will explain about the different organisms that live in the treetops such as mosses, lichens, bromeliads, vines and others. You get to see monkeys, sloths, snakes, and birds.
After the gondola ride, you will hike with your guide and visit a butterfly garden, where you will learn about the metamorphosis of butterflies, you will visit a terrarium, where you can see amphibians and reptiles and finally, you will visit an orchid garden.

History of the Aerial Tram
Donald Perry founded the Rain forest Aerial Tram in Costa Rica. Mr. Perry did his research in the Braulio Carrillo National Park. His main idea was to study the treetops of the Rainforest. He was the first to use zip-lines to study the rain forest canopy. This work appeared on the covers of Scientific American, Smithsonian, and New York Sunday Times magazines
