Transfer to Monteverde – Coffee Tour
Breakfast at Buena Vista Hotel
After breakfast, you will take a shared transport to Monteverde Cloud Forest. On the way, you will see coffee plantations and sugar cane fields. On the way up to Monteverde, you will enjoy stunning views of the pacific ocean and the Nicoya peninsula. Once you arrive, check-in the Hotel Poco a Poco. Free time to relax or enjoy the hotel facilities before your coffee tour in the afternoon.
Guided hike Hanging Bridges
After breakfast, our driver will pick you up to drive you to Selvatura Park. The hanging bridges tour consists of 1.9 miles of trails in which our visitors will encounter eight bridges of various lengths which range between 170 feet and 560 feet. Each bridge features 5-foot width and the largest capacity in Costa Rica of up to 80 people per bridge which makes the treetop walkways at Selvatura Park not only the longest bridge system in Costa Rica but also the safest and strongest. During the hike, our guide will help you to find animals, he will also explain to you a lot of interesting things about the cloud forest.
After the walk, you will visit an open hummingbird garden where you can see nearly 20 species, after the walk return to the hotel, afternoon at leisure. (B)
Transfer to Hacienda Guachipelin
After breakfast, a means of shared transport will take you to Hacienda Guachipelin located in the northwest of Costa Rica (Guanacaste province). The hotel is situated near the foot of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano (active volcano). Free afternoon
During your free time, you can enjoy wildlife and bird watching in our lush gardens of native trees and exotic flowers around our guest rooms. While exploring our expansive 3,400-acre ranch, be sure to visit our look-out point for amazing 360-degree panoramas of the Rincón de la Vieja and Santa Maria volcanoes, Guanacaste plains, and the Pacific coastline. The sunsets are spectacular! or take a hike to a waterfall. (B)
Guided Hike Rincon de la Vieja Volcano & Rio Negro Hot Springs
Today, after breakfast, you will visit the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. During this guided hike, you will see a wide variety of tropical forests, including dwarf cloud and montane ecosystems. Exotic and rare flora and fauna find refuge here including kinkajous, pumas, a variety of monkeys, sloths, tapirs, and jaguars. Rare emerald toucanets and blue-crowned motmots glow in the sunlight along with vibrant Fuschia and purple Guaria Morada orchids. You can also observe boiling hot mud springs, sulfur springs, steam vents, and fumaroles.
After the hike return to the hotel (B)

Transfer to Tamarindo Beach
After breakfast, a means of shared transport will drive you to Hotel Tamarindo Diria, located on Tamarindo Beach, Guanacaste. The next two days are at leisure. All the rooms at Tamarindo Diria are divided into 3 areas and 4 different categories offer the latest electronic door locks technology, air conditioning with climate control, ceiling fan, WiFi, satellite flat-screen TV, telephone with free international calls, electronic safe, docking station Bluetooth radio, pod cup coffee maker and a mini-refrigerator.
